Dry Screed

Dry screed offers a cost-effective and reliable means of providing a solid base for any new floor.

A dry screed mix is thicker than its liquid alternative and, as the more traditional method and mix used, is still employed in the majority of projects. That’s partly down to the fact that it’s extremely hard wearing, being able to support very heavy loads over many years. It also offers excellent energy efficiency and damp resistance.

Another significant advantage with dry screed is that it can be used to create a non-flat surface, something that is particularly useful in a number of applications, including wet rooms. It is also generally cheaper to make than liquid screed, although it is slower to apply as this needs to be done by hand.

Here at Batchmix, we can deliver dry screed to your site ready mixed to your exact specification. If you’re not sure of the perfect mix for your project, just talk to our experts who can give you the benefit of their many years of experience and knowledge.
